Every year, MCA-Certified judges judge each Mustang on its own merit, not in comparison to other cars, in one of 10 major Classes. These Classes are:
- Concours
- Thoroughbred
- Unrestored
- Modified
- President’s Choice
- Occasional Driven
- Daily Driven
- Specialty
- Conservator
- Display Only
Class Summaries
Concours, Thoroughbred and Unrestored Classes: Mustangs are judged on authenticity, condition, workmanship and cleanliness.
Modified Class: Mustangs have serious modifications to all areas of the car. Judges add points (up to a maximum) for modifications on each area of the car and then overall judge condition, workmanship and cleanliness.
President’s Choice Class: Open to only one- and two-year old Mustangs (Model Years 2025 and 2026 for this Show).
Occasional Driven, Daily Driven, Specialty, and Conservator Classes: Mustangs are judged on condition, workmanship and cleanliness.
Display Only Class: Mustangs are on display and not judged.
